Product Overview

The Kapwell Inline degasser is the most effective and efficient meets the stringent requirement.

Kapwell supply customised CE/UKCA/NORSOK, ATEX Zone 1 certified Inline degasser to suit the client requirements. All our components are NACE certified and manufactured to the highest quality. Our degassers are designed to achieve an effective gas-liquid separation and ensure a smooth transition of toxic gases to the exhaust pipe.

The Inline Degasser, designed to handle gas volumes of up to 60%, consists of a separation section employing centrifugal force for efficient gas-liquid separation. This critical component is complemented by a compact gas scrubber that utilizes density differences between phases to effectively remove liquid from gas. Together, these components enable the Inline Degasser to produce two distinct clean phases upon exiting the system.

offshore Oil & Gas

Oil and Gas Industry

Oil and Gas Industry

Inline degassers are essential components in the operations of oil and gas production and processing. Their primary function is the elimination of dissolved gases like methane, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon dioxide from crude oil, natural gas, and other process fluids. This crucial process serves to safeguard against equipment corrosion, optimize separation efficiency, and elevate the quality of refined products.

Chemical Industry HD new

Chemical Processing

Inline degassers are integral to various chemical processing operations where precise control of gas content in liquids is crucial. In pharmaceutical manufacturing, for instance, degassing ensures the purity and stability of active ingredients and formulations. Similarly, in food and beverage production, inline degassers are used to remove oxygen and carbon dioxide from liquids such as juices, beers, and syrups, thereby extending shelf life and maintaining product quality.

water treatment n HD

Water Treatment

Inline degassers play a vital role in water treatment systems, particularly in the purification of drinking water and wastewater treatment processes. By removing dissolved gases like carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, these degassers improve the taste and odor of drinking water while preventing corrosion in distribution systems.

food-beverage hd

Food and Beverage Industry

In beverage production, particularly in the brewing and carbonated drinks sectors, inline degassers are used to remove excess carbon dioxide (CO2) from liquids. This process helps maintain consistent product quality and ensures that beverages are properly carbonated according to specific recipes. Degassing also prevents over-foaming during filling and packaging operations, which is crucial for maintaining efficiency and product consistency.

Pharmaceutical Industry

In biopharmaceutical manufacturing, inline degassers are utilized to remove dissolved gases from cell culture media and fermentation processes. This ensures optimal growth conditions for cells and microbes, leading to higher yields of therapeutic proteins, vaccines, and other biopharmaceutical products. Degassing also helps maintain the stability and efficacy of sensitive biological materials during production and storage.

Power Generation

Power Generation

In power plants, inline degassers are employed to remove dissolved gases from boiler feedwater and steam condensate. This helps minimize corrosion and scale formation in boiler systems, improving operational efficiency and extending equipment life. Degassing also contributes to maintaining optimal heat transfer rates and steam quality, which are critical for power generation efficiency.
