Accreditation vs Certification

Product Overview

The Jet Venturi Scrubber uses a liquid sprayed under pressure through an ejector design to move air, cleanse gas, and remove particles without the use of a blower. The scrubbing water drains downward into the associated tank, and the cleansed exhaust air exits the scrubber through a droplet separator. Gas and liquid must be separated once more at the end of the jet scrubber tube, this time by a downstream centrifugal separator.

Applications

Industrial Manufacturing

Industrial Manufacturing

Jet scrubbers are used in industrial manufacturing processes to remove pollutants, such as particulate matter, acidic gases, toxic gases, and odor-causing compounds, from gas streams. These pollutants may be generated during combustion processes, material handling, or other manufacturing operations. Jet scrubbers are used to capture and remove these pollutants from the gas stream, helping to meet environmental regulations and protect the air quality.

Metalworking and Foundries1 HD

Metalworking and Foundries

Jet scrubbers are used in metalworking and foundry operations to remove metal fumes, dust, and other pollutants generated during melting, casting, and other metal processing operations. Jet scrubbers are effective in capturing and removing metal particles from the gas stream, reducing emissions and protecting the health and safety of workers.

Water and Wastewater Treatment

Waste Water Treatment

Jet scrubbers are used in waste water treatment plants to remove odors, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other contaminants from off-gas streams generated during the treatment of wastewater. Jet scrubbers help to control emissions and reduce odor nuisances associated with wastewater treatment processes.

Petrochemical Processing

Chemical Processing

Jet scrubbers are used in chemical processing plants to remove contaminants, such as acidic gases, toxic gases, and particulate matter, from process gas streams. Chemical reactions may generate pollutants that need to be removed to meet product quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.

Air Pollution Control

Air Pollution Control

Jet scrubbers are used in air pollution control systems, such as flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, to remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) and other acidic gases from flue gas emissions. Jet scrubbers are effective in capturing and neutralizing acidic gases, helping to reduce air pollution and comply with emissions regulations.

Hazardous Waste Incineration

Hazardous Waste Incineration

Jet scrubbers are used in hazardous waste incineration facilities to remove hazardous gases, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), acid gases, and other contaminants from flue gas emissions. These pollutants are generated during the incineration of hazardous waste materials and need to be removed to comply with environmental regulations and protect air quality.
