Perforated Baffle Plates

Separator perforated baffles are available in a variety of sizes and designs, and can be used in either horizontal or vertical vessels for installation. Perforated baffles are used to calm the incoming flow in horizontal separators, and they also aid in the redistribution of liquid flow in lengthy tubes due to their perforations. Gas distribution baffles plates are also employed in conjunction with mist eliminators, either upstream or downstream. The size of the baffle plates is determined by the size requirements for the flow distribution system. They are designed and constructed to be placed in parts through a vessel manway and are either self-reinforcing using webs on the panels, or in bigger vessels, they may be additionally supported by separate stiffening beams that are attached to the baffles.
