Description
Glycol Dehydration is a critical process in natural gas treatment, focused on removing water vapor to prevent issues like corrosion and hydrate formation. Moisture in the gas stream can lead to operational challenges and damage to pipelines and equipment if not managed properly. Utilizing a Glycol Dehydration Unit mitigates these risks effectively. This ensures the integrity of gas quality and protects essential infrastructure.
Our systems use triethylene glycol (TEG) to absorb water from the gas, with the ability to continuously operate by regenerating the glycol through an efficient process. This ensures that the system remains active even in demanding environments, where high gas flow rates or pressure drops can create additional challenges. Designed with safety in mind, the regeneration system prevents plugging and keeps the operation smooth and uninterrupted.
Kapwell offers both vertical and horizontal configurations of Glycol Dehydration Units, allowing flexibility based on space and project needs. Each unit is custom-built to handle maximum gas flow rates, preventing issues like system overload or carryover. This tailored design guarantees reliable operation, ensuring that gas is processed safely and efficiently, even under the most challenging conditions.
Our technology offers the highest level of safety during gas processing.
Kapwell’s certified Separator is designed to efficiently handle high volumes of gas, oil, and water while managing solids in well fluids. It features a liquid seal that prevents hydrate plugging and ensures safe venting of separated gas. The separator meets client specifications and complies with ABS CDS requirements, incorporating the latest industry standards for optimal performance and safety.
